A fun, festive version of our Gram stain earrings! These earrings are composed of glittery resin 'bacteria' on a beautiful iridescent acrylic disc. There are green bacilli (rod-shaped) and red cocci (round).
This is the large size of this design, which has a 15mm stud top and a 50mm dangle. They are certainly a statement size!
These are a bit heavier than our other designs due to their size, but still very wearable. Large rubber stud backs are included with these earrings, as many people find that they support the earrings better in the ear.
Please note, these earrings should be handled with care in order to protect the surface of the specialty acrylic and prevent damage to the resin pieces. The resin pieces are placed and glued by hand, so there will be slight variations in placement, though I aim to make them all as identical as possible. But this is the beauty of handmade items!
The earring posts and backs are made of 316 grade surgical steel.
