Bacteria Gram Stain Earrings - Statement Dangles

Iridescent, sparkly Gram stain earrings! These earrings are composed of glittery resin 'bacteria' on a beautiful iridescent acrylic disc.

The Gram stain is the most commonly used stain for identifying bacteria under the microscope. The 'bacteria' shown in this design are red-pink Gram-negative bacilli (rod-shaped) and purple Gram-positive cocci (round).

These are the large version of this design, which has a 1.5cm stud top and a 5cm dangle. They are certainly a statement size!

Please note, these earrings should be handled with care in order to protect the surface of the specialty acrylic and prevent damage to the resin pieces. They are lovingly handmade from epoxy resin, glitter and acrylic. The resin pieces are placed and glued by hand, so there will be slight variations in placement. But this is the beauty of handmade items!

The earring posts and backs are surgical steel, so they are suitable for those with other metal sensitivities. Please note that colours may appear differently on different screens.
